Summary

Brown and May Marine Ltd. are looking to recruit an experienced Fisheries Stakeholder Liaison Officer to work on projects around the UK. The successful candidate will join a team expanding to meet an increasing workload both from existing and new clients in the renewable (offshore wind farms), oil and gas and subsea cable industries within the UK and Europe.

The role will include managing projects in relation to liaison allowing effective communication and cooperation between clients and marine stakeholders (international, national, regional and local) at all stages of development (surveys, construction, etc). This will require maintenance of complete communication logs as well as planning and implementing liaison meetings, mail drops and answering stakeholder queries and concerns etc. In addition there is likely to be some report writing and research to support clients.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate experience in stakeholder engagement and liaison, preferably fisheries related, including in some challenging situations. In addition, they should ideally have a good understanding of accounts and financial matters.

The work can be undertaken via hybrid remotely with the option of working in the office and will involve regular travel around the UK and possibly Europe to stakeholder meetings at development sites. In addition, it may include travel to and work from Brown and May Marine Limited’s office in Eye Suffolk or colleagues based around the UK.
