- Evaluation of the requirement for and type of appropriate mitigation to address claims by fishermen in respect of temporary or permanent loss of fishing area
- Evaluation of practical mitigation options to minimise the frequency and magnitudes of interactions between fishing gears and sub-sea structures
- Mitigation required to maintain coexistence between recreational angling and boating and dive vessels
- Mitigation strategies to minimise adverse impacts on fish and shellfish during construction phases, such as the removal of piling restrictions associated with fish spawning
- Strategies and procedures to induce, as far as practically possible, sea bed elements resulting from instillation activities which may constitutes fastening hazards to fishing gears
- Providing advice in respect of cooperation agreements with commercial fishermen, obtaining and evaluating the evidence required under such agreements and the administration of payments to fishermen
- Assisting clients in the evaluation and administration of claims by fishermen for loss of fishing gears and catches caught fast on sub-sea instillations
