Brown & May Marine Ltd. have been assisting oil and gas operators in the production of Comparative Assessment (CA) for asset decommissioning through in-depth Socioeconomic Impact Assessment in relation to commercial fishing activity, this includes:

• The production of Socioeconomic Impact assessment to facilitate CA of decommissioning options with respect to Safety and Societal criteria
• Initiating, maintaining and managing consultations with local, national and international fishing industry in respect of decommissioning options
• Developing appropriate mitigation measures with respect to commercial fishing activity
• Providing support during public, regulatory and statutory consultation prior to final decommissioning programme submission to BEIS
